For starters, if you see a loose thread do not pull it! Sequins are often held with a thin thread, and pulling them could damage an entire strand of sequins.

Ideally, you should wash it by hand with cold water, not keeping it wet for too long and using a detergent for delicate garments.

If you decide to wash the sequin garment in the washing machine you should use the delicate cycle. Keep in mind that the sequins can be easily hooked to the washer,so it is recommended for a best result to handwash your sequin garments. When the washing machine is finished, remove the dress immediately and thus prevent wrinkling and sequins that could fall off.

Always allow to air dry in a cool and shaded place. Do not shake or squeeze the garment.
